Culture and History

To introduce you to the Glasgow, we want to give you an insight into what makes the city tick, what's behind what you see and what it all means. Then, as you explore the city, you will see how the pieces fit together. We start with the spirit of the city - captured in the phrase "People Make Glasgow" that you'll see around the city. Then we explore some of the history of the city to see how it's evolved and where it's going, so that Glasgow will start to feel like an old friend.
